Daniel J. Boorstin je pred ve\u010d kot pol stoletja opisal slavne osebe kot posameznike in posameznice, ki slovijo predvsem zaradi svoje slave. Na simpoziju, ki ga prirejata In\u0161titut za slovensko narodopisje Znanstvenoraziskovalnega centra SAZU in Filozofska fakulteta Univerze v Ljubljani, bodo izpostavili nekatere tak\u0161ne posameznike v Srednji in Jugovzhodni Evropi ter pojasnili, na \u010dem temelji njihova slava. Uvodno predavanje bo izvedel dr. Ivan \u010colovi\u0107, ugledni srbski etnolog in antropolog, borec za \u010dlovekove pravice ter ustanovitelj zalo\u017ebe Biblioteka XX vek.
