Debitantski film novinarke Abby Martin izhaja iz njenega poro\u010danja iz Palestine, kjer ji je izraelska vlada zavrnila vstop v Gazo na podlagi obto\u017ebe, da je “propagandistka”.
Dokumentarec o zgodovinskih protestih Great March Of Return, ki so se tedensko odvijali med marcem 2018 in decembrom 2019, vendar zajema veliko ve\u010d – pripoveduje zgodbo o preteklosti in sedanjosti Gaze ter prikazuje redke arhivske posnetke, ki pojasnjujejo zgodovino, ki je mno\u017ei\u010dni mediji niso nikoli priznali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
V svojem bistvu je Gaza fights for freedom obto\u017enica izraelske vojske za vojne zlo\u010dine in kinematografski prikaz palestinskega odpora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Po projekciji se nam bo v debati pridru\u017eila Wafaa Alburai, Palestinka iz Gaze, ki \u017eivi in dela v Ljubljani. Wafaa Alburai sodeluje z mednarodnimi humanitarnimi organizacijami v Gazi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Journalist Abby Martin’s debut film follows her reporting from Palestine, where she was denied entry to Gaza by the Israeli government on charges of being a “propagandist”.
A documentary about the historic Great March Of Return protests that took place weekly between March 2018 and December 2019, but it covers much more – it tells the story of Gaza’s past and present and shows rare archival footage that explains a history never acknowledged by the mainstream media .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At its core, Gaza fights for freedom is an indictment of the Israeli military’s war crimes and a cinematic depiction of Palestinian resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the screening, Wafaa Alburai, a Palestinian woman from Gaza living in Ljubljana, will join us for the debate. Wafaa Alburai has been working with international humanitarian organizations in Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
